Controller
Position Overview
The Controller will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations. This role is essential for maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Develop and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform cash accounting and manage cash flow
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process
- Maintain and improve financial systems, including NetSuite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Experience with financial reporting and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly NetSuite
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
