Join Our Team as an Echocardiogram Technician!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Are you an enthusiastic Echocardiogram Technician ready to make an impact on patient care?\n- We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform diagnostic echocardiograms for both adult and pediatric patients in an energetic and supportive environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Conduct technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams.\n- Coordinate activities with other hospital departments.\n- Schedule exams, transport patients, and maintain accurate billing information.\n- Assist cardiologists by preparing and measuring M-modes and exchanging pertinent information vital for diagnoses.\n- Act as the liaison for delivering and distributing dictations promptly.\n- Address patient needs during exams and report significant changes in patient conditions to the physician or nurse in charge.\n- Manage echo supply orders and maintain cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms.\n- Log patient exams and file records efficiently in the department.\n- Engage in Performance Improvement activities at departmental, interdepartmental, and hospital-wide levels.\n- Share responsibility for on-call coverage for emergency echo exams as per department policy.\n- Ensure quality control of equipment operation and examinations, coordinating repair services when necessary.\n- Stay updated on advancements in the field of Echocardiography and seek mentorship from cardiologists to enhance your skills.\n- Assist with other cardiac procedures as needed.\n\nRequirements:\n\n- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Two-year allied health education program related to patient care (e.g., diagnostic medical sonographer, radiologic technologist, etc.)\n- Certifications/Licenses:\n - A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation.\n - State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License.\n - BLS certification issued through American Heart Association.\n- Skills:\n - Effective communication abilities.\n - Strong organizational skills.\n - Ability to collaborate with diverse teams.\n - Capacity to work efficiently under pressure.\n - Manual dexterity for performing echocardiograms.\n- Experience: Two years of experience performing echocardiograms preferred.\n\nWork Schedule:\n\n- 4 Days - 10 Hours \n- Full Time\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
