Job Summary:
The Senior Procurement & Demand Analyst plays a key role in managing and optimizing the procurement and demand planning process. This individual is responsible for processing international orders, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery, supporting ERP operations, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. This role also supports cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and provides insights through data analysis to enhance operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
o Review, process, and track international purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
o Maintain accurate purchase order data in the ERP system and ensure alignment with shipment and invoice documentation.
o Communicate with international suppliers to ensure timely shipments and resolve delivery or compliance issues.
o Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support long-term procurement goals.
o Understand and manage direct container shipping processes from overseas suppliers to customers using portals like G.T. Nexus or AGL.
o Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics partners, and customers to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
o Work closely with sales, customer service, QC, and finance teams to address order-related inquiries and support end-to-end order fulfillment.
o Reconcile invoices, packing slips, receipts, and POs to ensure accurate financial processing.
o Coordinate with finance to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely invoice payments.
o Assist with ERP system troubleshooting and updates related to procurement, order processing, and inventory management.
o Train internal teams on ERP processes and serve as a liaison between users and IT or ERP vendors.
o Monitor procurement and supply chain KPIs to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
o Support demand planning and inventory control through accurate data on forecasts, stock levels, and order status.
o Participate in special projects aimed at process optimization and operational efficiency.
o Contribute ideas and solutions to enhance procurement workflows and system performance.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
o 3–5 years of purchasing, planning, or operations experience in a wholesale, retail, or manufacturing environment.
o At least 2 years of experience working with overseas suppliers and international logistics.
o Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
o Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros) and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
o Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
o Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor.
o Ability to build cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
