As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will deliver essential care to patients in a dynamic medical-surgical ICU and Transitional Care Unit. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating patient care, assessing the effectiveness of treatments, ensuring patient confidentiality, and working collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team. This position requires a nursing degree, a valid RN license, and Basic Life Support certification, while providing opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.

Employing the nursing process, you will provide comprehensive patient care while maintaining accountability for the care of your assigned patients. You will assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers and coordinate patient care with various departments. Upholding patient rights and confidentiality is paramount, and all duties should align with our mission, values, and service standards.
Position Highlights:
- Sign-On Bonus for New Graduates: $2,500
- Sign-On Bonus for Experienced Nurses: $10,000

Our unit is a vibrant, high-energy environment featuring a 20-bed floor that includes a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and an 8-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU). We pride ourselves on exceptional teamwork, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care.
In our medical-surgical ICU, we encounter a diverse range of patients and diagnoses, providing numerous educational opportunities for our staff. The TCU cares for acutely ill patients who are either transitioning from ICU or are not yet at the point of requiring ICU care. This fast-paced environment fosters critical thinking skills, making it an excellent learning space for new nurses. Our strong sense of teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration is what unites us.
Qualifications:
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment, adhering to all state board of nursing regulations.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
