Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and light manufacturing operations, including receiving, inventory control, staging, and distribution. This role ensures efficient, safe, and cost‑effective warehouse operations while supporting organizational productivity and delivery commitments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, safety, and performance management.
  • Oversee receiving, labeling, staging, and shipment of hardware, doors, frames, and related materials.
  • Ensure accurate segregation of inventory for stock, jobs, shop use, or interoffice transfers.
  • Coordinate timely, cost‑effective shipping using appropriate carriers and delivery methods.
  • Review shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy and ERP compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and collaborate with Purchasing and Accounting on inventory levels and cycle counts.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety standards, and proper use of equipment.
  • Participate in process updates, shipping/receiving meetings, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 100lbsand perform frequent physical tasks.
  • Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
  • Experience with inventory control, shipping, and warehouse safety practices.
  • Valid driver’s license, CDL, DOT certification, and insurability may be required.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in both office and warehouse environments. Regular use of computer systems, phones, and standard office or warehouse equipment required. Periodic lifting up to 50lbs and material handling are expected. Safety gear (PPE) may be required in certain work areas.

Salary: Full-time, exempt, $50,000-$60,000 + bonus incentive

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 7:00am - 11:00am

Employment for this position is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening. This role is classified as safety-sensitive, and as such, is subject to a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy. Drug screening will be conducted in accordance with federal regulations, including but not limited to the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and applicable state and local laws. A positive drug test or failure to comply with the screening process will result in disqualification from employment.
