The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within our Regional Float Pool delivers patient care across various hospital facilities in the St. Louis area, focusing on multiple medical units. This part-time night role necessitates recent bedside experience as an LPN, a valid nursing license, and essential certifications such as BLS and ACLS. Status: Part-Time

Shift: Nights

Incentives:

• Sign-On Bonus: $2,000
  • No Contract Required
• Base Pay: Based on Experience
  • PLUS Regional Float Pool Perks AND Shift Differentials: $2.75 for Evenings, $3.75 for Nights, $1.50 for Weekends

• Southeast Hospital - Cape Girardeau, MO
• Stoddard Hospital - Dexter, MO

Units You May Float To:

Orthopedics, Medical/Surgical, Medical Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, Medical Stepdown, Surgical Stepdown, Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care, Oncology, Neurology, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, ICU, and more!

Qualifications:

• Required Education:
  • Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Licensure:
  • Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license in the state of employment, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
• Experience:
  • One year of recent bedside LPN experience for Med/Surg roles.
  • For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent bedside LPN experience is required.
    • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic
• Certifications (Required to Start):
  • For Med/Surg: BLS
  • For Critical Care: BLS, ACLS
  • For Emergency Department: BLS, ACLS, & PALS
  • IV certification is mandatory
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift; significant bending, stooping, and lifting/turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
