Position: RN-PCU-Progressive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs regularly.

• Engage in continuous learning to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

• Assist in achieving departmental performance targets and goals.

• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.

• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

• Utilize technology and tools to improve patient care efficiency.

• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

Experience/Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio with Progressive Care Unit experience.

• Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

• Proven ability to monitor and assess patient conditions effectively.

• Ability to educate patients and families on health management.

• Experience collaborating with healthcare teams to implement care plans.

• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.

• Demonstrated ability to provide emotional support to patients.

• Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives in a healthcare setting.
