Job Summary Rite-Tool, Inc. is an established precision detail shop with a 40-year legacy of excellence in the trade. We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Machinist to join our team of dedicated craftsmen.
In this role, you will be responsible for machining single and multiple high-precision parts directly from blueprints. We specialize in "one-off" and small-batch precision work, requiring a self-starter who can take a project from setup to completion with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities
- Manual Machining: Expertly operate Manual Mills (Bridgeport), Lathes, and Grinders to produce precision components.
- Tech-Enhanced Manual Work: Utilize Prototrak, EZ Trak, or Accurate digital readouts/controls to increase efficiency on complex geometries.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret detailed engineering prints and tolerances to machine parts to exact specifications.
- Project Ownership: Manage the end-to-end machining process for both single-piece prototypes and small production runs.
- Quality Excellence: Maintain a high level of detail-orientation, inspecting your own work to ensure "Rite-Tool" standards are met on every part.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Manual Machinist in a precision shop environment.
- Equipment Knowledge: Proficiency with Bridgeport mills is required. Experience with EZ Trak or Prototrak is a significant plus.
- Technical Skill: Ability to machine parts from prints with high accuracy and low supervision.
- Mindset: A self-motivated professional who thrives in a "detail-first" environment.
