Job Summary
The Assistant Client Service Manager oversees the front-line daily operations of the branch. Supervises direct reports to ensure daily transactions are completed with accuracy and in a timely matter. The Assistant Client service manager plays an important role in decision making. Stands ready to act as the branch manager if he/she is not present. Role models excellent client service by exceeding client expectations; makes our clients top priority and always looks for ways to create client value and loyalty. Exemplifies a professional image for the Bank, leading by example.
Essential Job Duties
- Reviews and approves all client requests including: transfers, close-out requests, CD transactions ,deposits, withdrawals, and all outgoing wires.
- Approves all outgoing wires for branch
- Reviews daily branch inbox to ensure emails are responded to in a timely matter Ensures all operational daily work is processed accurately; approves transitions including deposits, cashier’s checks, withdrawals
- Assists with pulling audit items
- Trains and works closely with CSR’s. Ensures staff is familiar with how to process returned items, REG CC holds, clear suspense items, CD accrual interest
- Reviews held mail, stop payments, Inactive accounts, and fraud reports
- Assist with conducting monthly trainings with teller staff for further operational training
- Overlooks branch cash orders and shipments maintaining branch cash limits
- Approves branch cash daily ensuring all limits are maintained by tellers, cash sheet complete and initialed.
- Ensures all reports are properly being worked; approves daily reports assigned to CSR’s
- Assists with New account requests including personal and business accounts.
- Approves CTR’s and responsible for understanding clients cash activity.
- Assists with cross-selling banking products and services
- Assist with NSF items including ACH returns, unable to identify, payment stopped and unauthorized. Calls appropriate customers and departments when needed and inputs final decisions on system by 12:00 p.m.
- Assist with Branch Certifications .
- Responsible for branch supply ordering weekly
- Works closely with Branch Manager to find solutions and discuss any areas of improvement needed within the branch, such as branch processes, streamlining areas where needed on the front-line
- Responsible for the organization of the branch including office spaces, kitchen areas and conference rooms
- Maintains branch key logs and records are maintained properly.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- College degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in banking/finance.
- 2 years Manager experience required.
- Good leadership and decision making skills
- Good communication skills
Computer & Software Skills
- Must have foundational computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook email and calendaring) and the Internet
Travel
- Occasional local travel
Additional Information
Min: $60,000 - Max: $72,000
