• Local: Up to $95/hr

• Traveler: Up to $105/hr

Schedule

• 35 hours/week (7 hours/day | 5 days/week)

• Typical Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary

The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing programs to enhance patient care and staff performance within an Adult Behavioral Health unit. This role monitors clinical performance, partners with unit leadership on assessments, supports corrective actions as needed, and develops record-keeping systems to track medication errors and counseling activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement programs to improve patient care outcomes and employee performance

• Monitor patient care standards and unit performance

• Collaborate with unit leadership on assessments and corrective actions

• Develop and maintain record-keeping systems for medication errors and counseling activities

• Support quality improvement initiatives within the Behavioral Health department

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License in New York State (primary source verified)

• BLS certification

• Minimum 7 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing

• Leadership experience within Behavioral Health settings
