Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position at a small community hospital, requiring Epic experience and skills in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilated patient care.
Details
- Small community hospital ICU setting with lower acuity patient population
- Night shift schedule: 3x12s, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- 6-week contract
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling block
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Floating to Med/Surg may be required
- Floating to other affiliated hospital locations is possible with same-day notice, but not mid-shift; mileage reimbursed for off-site float assignments
Requirements
- Active VA state or Compact RN license currently in hand; pending licensure accepted only for candidates holding a single-state license from a non-compact state
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in cardiac/hemodynamic monitoring, arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply

- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application
- One holiday must be worked per contract
- Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2-week period
