Warehouse Associate
Shift: Monday - Friday (5AM - 3:30PM)
Pay: $16.50 - 17/hr

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing material shortages and increases, maintaining supplier Purchase Order dates, and assisting buyers in expediting processes with suppliers. Your attention to detail will ensure the organization of inbound deliveries and processing receipts in a FIFO manner, while your skills in material handling will be essential in delivering products to inventory racks or points of use.
Responsibilities
- Monitor all material shortages and increases, reacting promptly through customer interface systems.
- Maintain supplier Purchase Order dates.
- Assist buyers in contacting and expediting with suppliers concerning part shortages and forecasts.
- Assist buyers in obtaining Purchase Order acknowledgments.
- Unload delivery trucks from vendors.
- Organize inbound deliveries.
- Process receipts in a FIFO manner.
- Deliver products to inventory racks or points of use.
- Monitor the queue for upcoming work.
- Pull parts per picklist.
- Check, pack, and ship products.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in forklift operation.
- Experience in shipping and receiving.
- Competency in picking and packing.
- Strong material handling skills.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners.
- Ability to manage inventory control and cycle counts.
- Experience in loading and unloading.
- Familiarity with sit-down forklift operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of prior distribution experience in warehouse and manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience with MRP and/or ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office tools, is preferred.
- Experience driving various types of forklifts, including sit-down, standup, reach, and cherry picker, is highly preferred.

Work Environment
Work in a large, industrial manufacturing environment that is air-conditioned.
Be prepared to occasionally go outside to the yard for materials, which is not air-conditioned.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr.
