Job Description
We are seeking an experienced OSP/FTTH Construction Supervisor to oversee outside plant fiber construction projects from start to finish. The supervisor will ensure all work is executed safely, on time, within budget, and to established quality standards. This is a traveling role, and candidates must be willing to be on the road as project needs require, especially following the completion of local work assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee subcontractors and crews to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot construction issues and provide solutions promptly.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and updates for management.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in OSP/FTTH construction supervision.
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing practices.
- Familiarity with aerial and underground construction standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, permits, and utility maps.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
