Key Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Proven experience in the ICU setting
- Proficiency with advanced monitoring equipment and electronic health records
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Certification in BLS and ACLS (required)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver holistic, patient-centered care to individuals with acute or life-threatening conditions
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, laboratory results, and advanced diagnostic data
- Administer medications, including critical drips, and assist with complex procedures
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Document nursing interventions and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, and quality standards at all times
