Funtastic Childcare is looking for an experienced, caring and reliable Pre-K teacher with at least two years of childcare experience and either an Associates Degree or CDA. As our Pre-K Teacher, you will be essential in nurturing and educating young children in a safe and stimulating environment. We are looking for a teacher who will demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a structured routine while providing fun, educational activities that meet the needs of the children.
Minimum Duties:
- Care for the daily personal needs of the children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children
- Be an active member of your classroom by engaging with each child
- Build a trusting, respectful relationship with each child
- Develop and implement weekly lesson plans
- Complete bi-annual assessments and quarterly observations for each child
- Lead parent-teacher conferences as needed
- Maintain daily open communication with parents both verbally and through our Procare app (postings and pictures)
- Log accident and incident reports
- Attend in service and staff meetings
- Cooperate and collaborate with all coworkers for the best of the children
- Assist with duties and responsibilities that will help to create a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the whole center
- Meet all applicable licensing regulations
