HIGHLIGHTS:
- Minimum Experience: 2 year of experience in specialty
- NO NEW TRAVELERS - 1 completed travel assignment required
- Required Certifications: IN Single State RN License, AHA BLS & ACLS, NIHSS
- 40 MILE RADIUS RULE - NO LOCAL CANDIDATES
- Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
- WILL NOT ACCEPT 48hrs OR BLOCKED SCHEDULED REQUESTS
- Shift: 12hr Nights (6:00p-6:30a)
- Float Requirements: float to other cardiac, stepdown, or tele units and may float between Midtown, Gateway, and Heart Hospital, but cross campus mid-shifting floating is rare
- Weekends/Holidays: every other weekend/holiday
- On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
- Required Skillset: Start IVs, radial artery sheath removal, TR bands, arterial line management, manage/titrate cardiac drips, cardioversions, Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation
- TRAVELERS REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Patient ratios: 3:1 (Day Shift), 4-5:1 (Night Shift)
- Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
- 3 call-ins can result in termination
