Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a local school district in Dearborn, MI to hire a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-based SPED teaching role.

Job Description

• Provide individualized instruction to students with IEPs

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations

• Modify curriculum and assessments to meet student needs

• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families

• Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and compliance activities

Student Population

• Elementary through middle school

• Mild to moderate special education needs

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching Certification

• School-based experience preferred

• Strong communication and classroom management skills
