Overview:

Responsible for applying advanced engineering principles to the design and implementation of the new control system which includes PLCs, SCADAs, HMIs, Servers (physical and virtual), Databases, Data Historian, Virtualization, and other automation equipment.

Responsible for the design and software reviews of projects to ensure project deliverables around automation systems.

Responsible for the CSV strategy which includes document generation and approval, review and approve requirements, specifications, drawings, coding procedures, and guidelines. Also serve as subject matter expert during the Qualification Activities of new control systems.

Provide guidance and supports the Project Manager in the planning, organization, and scheduling for control system project.

Communicate priorities and progress to the team on a continuing basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in science, engineering, manufacturing technology, or a closely related field is required.
• Deep knowledge and over eight years of experience in working Automation; Rockwell Automation Family (RsLogix 5, RsLogix 500, RsLogix 5000, Studio 5000, Connected Component Workbench, FactoryTalk View ME, FactoryTalk View SE, Thin Manager, AssetCentre ,etc).
• Knowledge on client/server architecture.
• Knowledge of local access procedures, including but not limited to: Safety procedures, electronic systems access (email, phone, others).
• Project management concepts: timeline follow-up, schedule reviews, predecessor.
• People skills for interdisciplinary share.
• Self-driven and schedule-oriented.
• Strong skill in working independently and effectively interacting with various levels.
• Demonstrated computer skills, including but not limited to, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
• Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and initiatives.
• Ability to work both independently and in partnership with others.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish. Written and verbal.
