Job Description

Onward Search Education is partnering with a school district in Wayne County, MI to hire two Special Education Teachers for the 2025–2026 school year.

Location: Wayne County, MI

Start Date: August 20, 2025

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
• Create inclusive classroom environments that support all learners
• Utilize evidence-based instructional practices and interventions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• MI Special Education Teacher Certification (or eligibility)
