Job Description:
We are seeking talented Structural Engineers at various levels (Entry, Intermediate, and Advanced) to join our expanding team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on diverse and complex building projects, collaborating with architects, contractors, and owners from concept to construction. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about structural design and eager to contribute their expertise to our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the structural design of building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct structural analysis and modeling using software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and RAM, as well as perform hand calculations.
- Develop comprehensive contract documents, including construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Provide expert review of shop drawings and RFIs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent.
- Perform thorough field inspections and generate detailed inspection reports.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and owners.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and cost-effective structural solutions.
- For advanced levels, mentor and guide junior engineers.
Qualifications:
Entry Level:
- Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong academic foundation and passion for structural design
- Internship or co-op experience a plus
Intermediate Level:
- Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in building structural design, including concrete and steel framing, support-of-excavation, and foundation systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.
- Experience with steel and concrete rebar shop drawing design, construction support design, and field inspections.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Advanced Level:
- Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 6+ years of extensive experience in building structural design, including concrete and steel framing, support-of-excavation, and foundation systems.
- Advanced proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.
- Significant experience with steel and concrete rebar shop drawing design, construction support, and field inspections.
