Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement nursing care specific to patient age groups on assigned units
- Ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality care consistent with unit standards
- Maintain clear, age-appropriate communication with patients and their families
- Demonstrate professionalism and respect in interactions with staff, physicians, and patients
- Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols, including bloodborne pathogen precautions
- Manage physical demands including patient transfers, positioning, and emergency response situations
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or active Compact state license
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from AHA
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is required
- Demonstrated clinical competence and knowledge relevant to the patient population served
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across developmental stages
- Proven capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful healthcare environment
Schedule:
- Day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with flexibility to accommodate changes and emergencies
