Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Aurora, CO. This contract role is designed for a dedicated professional passionate about making a difference in the academic and personal growth of students by providing skilled speech and language services throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC-SLP preferred).
- Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse communication needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
