FurEver Friends Animal Hospital is growing, and we're looking for compassionate, motivated Veterinary Technicians to join our team! We have both full-time and part-time positions available.
We are a busy, fast-paced small animal practice dedicated to providing high-quality medicine while treating every patient and client like family. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatments
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
- Collect blood, urine, and other laboratory samples
- Perform in-house laboratory testing
- Place and maintain IV catheters
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Take and position patients for radiographs
- Perform dental cleanings (experience preferred)
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventive care
- Safely restrain patients and provide compassionate nursing care
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Qualifications
- Veterinary technician experience required
- Veterinary Technician certification/license is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Compassion for both patients and their owners
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred but not necessary
