HCT seeks a medical staff services professional to serve an the Interim Manager for a 200+ bed hospital in California.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors in healthcare field preferred; Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of degree or diploma
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in medical staff governance, credentialing, medical education or related healthcare setting. Previous leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of the Joint Commission, CMS, ACCME and Department of Health standards. Proven abilities in arbitrating and negotiating issues between physicians and Medical Staff leaders/hospital departments.
- Certifications: CPCS and/or CPMSM preferred
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with previous experience utilizing credentialing software.
Expenses covered while on assignment include housing, airfare, and rental car.
