Job Description

Who We Are

We're Tis the Season Holiday Lighting - a local Lee's Summit holiday lighting company in our 8th year of business. We install lighting on over 800 homes and businesses in the Lee's Sumimt area each year. Our owners are heavily involved in the business, and still work in the field installing lights with the crews each year.

We're looking for seasonal help with our installations and we'd love to hear from you. We pay great, we're fun to work for, and we have a great time doing what we do. We work starting October first and our season ends sometime the first week of December.

There is no experience required for this role. If you have some that's great, but we will provide all the training to get you up to speed and you receive ample hands on experience.

What You Will Do

  • Work with our team to install holiday lighting on our existing customers homes and commercial businesses
  • Work with our team to custom fit new holiday lighting to new customers homes and commercial businesses

What You'll Need

  • You'll need to be comfortable with heights
  • Physically capable of moving aluminum ladders around and ascending / descending them
  • A healthy sense of caution and care as we are working on ladders and roofs and we must be careful doing so
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Willingness and aptitude to pick up skills both via direction and via observation
  • The job is physical in nature, you'll be working with your hands, on your feet, up and down ladders for the majority of the day

Hours & Pay

  • Weekly Pay - ranges between $850 - $1,100 / wk
  • We start @ 8am and are generally complete by mid afternoon (though occasionally a late day happens)
  • Our season is now to around December 10th
  • We generally need to work some Saturdays to make our schedule
