Job DescriptionPosition Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC / Boiler Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, and related mechanical equipment.
This is a field service position, working directly with customers to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support equipment upgrades and retrofits within manufacturing and industrial facilities.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and experience working with large-scale commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, air handlers, and related equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues

Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service repairs

Support equipment retrofits, upgrades, and system rebuilds

Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical schematics

Commission newly installed or retrofitted HVAC and boiler systems

Work directly with customers to explain issues, solutions, and recommended repairs

Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with industry standards and regulations

Complete service reports and documentation following each service call

Travel to customer sites within the service territory
Qualifications

3+ years of experience servicing commercial or industrial HVAC systems

Experience working with boilers, chillers, air handlers, cooling towers, and mechanical HVAC systems

Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems

Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals

Experience performing equipment retrofits and system upgrades

Strong customer service and communication skills

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations
