Job DescriptionCopywriter/Proofreader leads Feld Creative Services (FCS) in developing and writing compelling, brand-aligned copy across a wide range of media, including digital, web, CRM, print, social, and video. Provides quality assurance and accuracy for all Feld-branded properties. Must maintain and uphold consistent brand voice and messaging standards, with a strong eye for detail, spelling, grammar, and tone. Is responsible for creating and maintaining workflow, while ensuring quality and consistency at every touchpoint.Essential Job Functions

  • Interpret creative briefs and marketing strategies into persuasive and engaging copy. Develop and edit high-quality copy and headlines for campaigns, emails, digital media, video scripts, print materials, presentations, and more.
  • Contribute to brand messaging guidelines and help maintain their integrity across channels. Ensure consistency of brand voice, tone, and messaging.
  • Proof, copyedit, and fact check various show campaign materials, including but not limited to broadcast spots, digital projects, manuscripts, ads, signage, and corporate projects, including program books.
  • Proofread and quality-check all written materials for spelling, grammar, style, and accuracy before delivery, and review final video content and campaign materials for spelling and appropriate brand disclaimers.
  • Create and evolve content guides to ensure all trademark and disclaimer requirements are outlined per brand and ensure the specifications are executed on all materials.
  • Ideate and collaborate with designers and producers on campaign messaging development.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines with efficiency and professionalism in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in English, Journalism, or Creative writing. English coursework in grammar, punctuation, basic composition, and/or advanced writing courses (especially expository writing). Spanish helpful.
  • 5+years work in an advertising, communications, or marketing environment (proofreading, commercial art/design, copyediting).
  • Experience working within the live entertainment or related industry.
  • Eye for accuracy with the ability to spot omissions, errors, and other problems that need to be corrected prior to publication or printing (spelling, grammar, typos, and inconsistency in form, substance, or subject matter).
  • Attention to detail and follow-through. Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively across teams.
  • Proven ability to write across a variety of media, including digital, print, and social.
  • Strategic thinker with sharp editing skills and a passion for storytelling.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. Team player.
  • Deep understanding of branding, tone of voice, and how to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with quality assurance and content review processes.
  • Ability to take feedback and apply it constructively.
