General Manager/PIC Compounding Pharmacy

Are you an experienced pharmacist passionate about sterile and non-sterile compounding? We're looking for a Pharmacy Compounding Manager/PIC to lead our compounding pharmacy department, oversee a talented team, and drive innovation and growth within our organization.
About the Role:
This role offers the opportunity to manage and mentor a dedicated team of three technicians and one staff pharmacist, ensuring excellence in compounding practices. You will oversee all aspects of sterile and non-sterile compounding, including handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials, while playing a key role in expanding our compounding services and contributing to organizational success.
As a Pharmacy Compounding Manager, you will manage daily operations of the compounding pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with all USP, federal, and New York State guidelines. You will develop and maintain policies and procedures that reflect best practices in compounding, act as a consultant in sales meetings with the owner to support business development, and stay flexible and adaptive to the department’s growth and evolving needs.
What we are looking for:
- Extensive experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding, including hazardous materials.
- Strong knowledge of developing and implementing policies and procedures related to compounding pharmacy operations.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team, including technicians and pharmacists, in a clinical or compounding pharmacy setting.
- Current Florida Pharmacist license (required).
- Multi-state licenses or willingness to acquire additional licenses through company-sponsored testing (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with physician offices, patients, and internal team members.
- Familiarity with USP, federal, and Florida State guidelines pertaining to compounding pharmacy practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs and growth of the compounding pharmacy department.
