Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT(R), BLS, and relevant state licensure for an evening shift role in an adult acute care teaching hospital.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the MRI department of an acute care teaching hospital with adult outpatient, ER, and trauma cases
- Evening shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- No weekend or on-call requirements; on-call available if interested
- Average assignment length is 13 weeks
- Patient population includes adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma
- Uses Siemens MRI equipment
- Charting is completed using Epic (Excellian) EMR
- Floating within scope may be required to other hospital or affiliate locations as needed
- Scrub color is dark gray
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is preferred
- Locals are accepted for this position

\n \n Requirements\n
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist
- Current ARRT-R, BLS certification, and state license required (license required if applicable)
- Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is required
- Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma settings
- Epic (Excellian) EMR experience preferred
- Pending license accepted
- At least one supervisor reference is required for consideration
- Returning employees must have a minimum 3 month separation from last shift worked as perm staff
