Customer Service Representative – Roles & Responsibilities

Location: Maitland, FL 32751, onsite for at least 120 days.


Shifts Available:

M-F 8:30 am-5:30 pm (1 hour lunch)

M-F 9:30 am-6:30 pm (1 hour lunch)

Duration: 3-6 months contract to hire

Pay range: $20-$21 an hour on W2.


As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for incoming inquiries, delivering outstanding service to patients, providers, or internal teams. Your focus will be on timely, accurate communication, data entry, and coordination to support a seamless service experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, or tickets and provide assistance to patients, providers, or internal staff.
  • Support overflow customer service tasks from multiple teams.
  • Perform accurate data entry, case creation, and account updates based on incoming information.
  • Collaborate with internal billing teams to update and maintain account records.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and efficiency when dealing with patients in high-pressure situations.
  • Multi-task and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in internal systems and track interactions using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Display strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Learn and apply feedback quickly to improve service quality.
  • Uphold HIPAA and internal compliance standards during all interactions.


Preferred Experience:

  • Background in healthcare, insurance, or call center environments
  • Prior use of CRM or case tracking systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing or pharmacy services is a plus
