Job DescriptionCustomer Service Representative

  • Onsite Neenah, WI
  • $15–$25/hour (based on experience)
  • Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts for their equipment. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their needs, research product options, provide pricing and quotes, and process orders.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can multitask between multiple computer systems, and enjoys building strong customer relationships. This position also plays an important role in generating leads and supporting outside sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with parts inquiries, quotes, pricing, and order placement via phone and email

  • Process customer orders and verify inventory availability, backorder status, vendor schedules, and shipping timelines

  • Research parts and recommend solutions related to fluid power components

  • Monitor and follow up on order status, backorders, and shipping issues

  • Investigate and resolve incorrect shipments, damages, or defects

  • Process customer returns, credits, and reshipments as needed

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and account activity

  • Identify opportunities to up-sell, cross-sell, and generate leads for the outside sales team

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with OEMs, industrial companies, and heavy equipment customers

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience

  • Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel

  • High level of organization and attention to detail

Preferred

  • Experience in industrial distribution, fluid power, or related industries

  • Knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics

  • Experience with Profit 21 (P21) ERP system

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Degree in Fluid Power or Industrial Distribution is a plus

Training Provided

Employees will receive training in:

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic products

  • Basic fluid power systems

  • Internal computer systems

  • Microsoft Office and P21 Business System
