Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide telespeech support in a school setting. The role involves approximately 14 hours per week and focuses on assisting with speech therapy services aimed at relieving billing SLPA duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver telespeech services to students requiring speech and language support
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school policies
  • Support billing-related tasks as needed to alleviate workload for the billing SLPA
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training related to telespeech modalities

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs or appropriate certification/license for SLPA in school settings
  • Experience providing speech-language services in educational environments
  • Comfort and proficiency with telespeech platforms and technologies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage students remotely
  • Knowledge of billing procedures related to speech-language services (preferred)
