Position Overview
We’re looking for an energetic and creative Local Business & Social Media Assistant to help us promote Hototronics through local platforms, business listings, and social channels.
You’ll be responsible for sharing updates, highlighting promotions, and engaging with local customers online to strengthen our community presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and post content across local business directories and community platforms (Google Business, OfferUp, Facebook, Nextdoor, Yelp, etc.)
- Create and schedule engaging posts that highlight products, services, and promotions
- Respond to comments, messages, and reviews with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Capture and share photos or short videos of products, staff, or local events
- Track engagement metrics and help shape social media strategies
- Assist with online campaigns, local partnerships, and community outreach
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media (Facebook, Instagram, Google, Nextdoor, TikTok, etc.)
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently
- Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools a plus)
- Bonus: Experience with small business marketing, electronics, or customer service
