Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. This role is essential in supporting both clinical operations and direct patient care. The ideal candidate is skilled, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

What Youll Do

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for visits, including vital signs and medical histories
• Assist providers during exams and procedures
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Accurately document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Schedule appointments and assist with care coordination
• Respond to patient calls and inquiries professionally
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)

Patient Care:

• Deliver compassionate, respectful, and culturally competent care
• Support patient education and follow-up instructions
• Assist in resolving patient concerns with professionalism and empathy

What Were Looking For

• Certified Medical Assistant (required)
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgment
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Skills in conflict resolution and teamwork
• Passion for serving others and alignment with FCHCs mission
