What You’ll Do:
As a DBMD Case Manager, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating and monitoring services for individuals with Deaf Blind Multiple Disabilities. You’ll ensure that each client receives the care and support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day activities and service delivery for your assigned caseload.
- Ensure compliance with DBMD program guidelines and licensure standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and billing.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with clients, families, vendors, and team members.
- Participate in training, quality improvement, and on-call duties as needed.
- Travel locally for client visits and community engagement.
What You Bring:

Qualifications:
- Education and experience in health and human services (see full criteria below).
- Proficiency in communication methods used by individuals with disabilities (e.g., ASL, tactile symbols).
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, database software).
- Reliable transportation, valid TX driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- CPR and First Aid certification (in-person only).
- Ability to type 35 WPM with 80% accuracy and demonstrate Excel proficiency.
Education/Experience Options:
- Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of direct service experience, OR
- Associate’s degree + 4 years of experience, OR
- High school diploma + 6 years of experience.
