We are seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) and highly skilled Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead all HR functions for our onsite workforce. Reporting directly to leadership, this role focuses on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll, benefits administration, legal compliance, and overall organizational development. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in cultivating a thriving workplace culture while aligning HR operations with the company’s strategic business objectives. The successful candidate will have experience with ADP payroll systems, managing both hourly and salaried employees, and supporting a workforce of approximately 60 employees, including temporary staff, in a manufacturing facility. This onsite position operates Monday through Friday, but flexibility is required to support off-shift operations as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processing in ADP for hourly and salaried employees, adhering to compliance standards and ensuring timely execution (Source: Robert Half Salary Guide).
  • Benefits Management: Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and overseeing annual open enrollment processes (Source: Robert Half HR Manager Overview).
  • Compliance and Regulation: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws while managing Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment claims (Source: Robert Half Talent Solutions).
  • Employee Relations: Lead initiatives to resolve employee concerns, conduct exit interviews, and foster positive workforce engagement.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Develop recruiting strategies, updating job descriptions, conducting compensation analyses, and building partnerships with staffing agencies to meet workforce needs.
  • Training and Development: Design programs to address critical competency gaps and create long-term strategies to develop and retain organizational talent.
  • Performance Management: Execute onboarding processes, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure alignment with organizational goals (Source: Robert Half Kelly Study 2023).
  • HR Strategy: Collaborate with executive leadership to define HR priorities. Provide insights through monitoring systems, organizational charts, and analytics to measure and improve HR effectiveness


Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).
  • Experience with ADP payroll systems and HRIS modules.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits administration and open enrollment cycles.
  • Onsite Monday through Friday availability, with flexibility to support after-hours needs as required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience overseeing HR processes for small to midsize organizations, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Proven communication and analytical skills with the ability to motivate teams and streamline HR operations
