Psychiatrist - Correctional Healthcare Hours

• Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 5 openings

Psychiatrist - Correctional Healthcare Compensation

• Salary: $240K - $290K
• Excellent benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with 100% employer match, and the Texas State Pension Plan

Psychiatrist - Correctional Healthcare Responsibilities

• These positions involve providing direct inpatient psychiatric care to offenders
• Physicians will conduct psychiatric evaluations, physical and neurological assessments, oversee treatment plans, and may also participate in civil commitment proceedings for patients being released from the correctional system.
• Providers may also supervise psychiatric mid-level practitioners and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Psychiatrist - Correctional Healthcare Requirements

• MD or DO with completed Psychiatry residency
• Eligible for Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA controlled substances registration

Preferred

• 2+ years of clinical experience
• Experience with digital medical systems/utilization
