About the Role:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of inventory and shipments. This position is responsible for managing warehouse staff, coordinating logistics activities, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures that all processes from receiving, storage, and order fulfillment are executed smoothly to meet company and customer expectations. They act as a key liaison between warehouse personnel and management, driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity. Ultimately, the role contributes to the overall supply chain effectiveness by maintaining organized workflows and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and warehouse safety standards.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
- Experience with ERP software such BisTrack
- Experience in forklift operation and warehouse safety.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements that increase efficiency.
- Strong leadership training or certification.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse employees to promote professional development and high performance.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to streamline operations and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, including productivity, quality, and safety metrics.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure proper use of warehouse technology and tools.

The Warehouse Supervisor utilizes strong organizational and leadership skills daily to manage and motivate a diverse team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
