Location: Greenville, SC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $135 – $140 per hour
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Perfusionist to support cardiothoracic surgical procedures in a hospital setting. This role is responsible for operating extracorporeal circulation equipment, including heart-lung machines, while ensuring optimal patient outcomes during surgery.
Key Responsibilities

Operate heart-lung machines and related perfusion equipment during surgical procedures

Monitor and manage patient physiological parameters (blood flow, oxygenation, temperature)

Administer blood products and medications via extracorporeal circulation as directed

Perform setup, calibration, and maintenance of perfusion equipment

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff

Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and adjust perfusion parameters

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses

Ensure compliance with safety standards, hospital policies, and infection control protocols

Participate in quality improvement and ongoing training initiatives
Qualifications

Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) – Required

Active state license (if applicable)

BLS certification (AHA required); ACLS preferred

Minimum 1 year of recent perfusion experience in a hospital or surgical setting

Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology and perfusion technology

Excellent critical-thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure surgical environments
