We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Otolaryngologist to join our expanding Department of Otolaryngology. This unique position combines inpatient hospitalist responsibilities with outpatient general otolaryngology practice, providing a balanced clinical experience.

Position Overview
This full-time role allows you to develop a well-rounded clinical practice within one of the premier academic health systems in the country. You will engage in teaching, research, and multidisciplinary patient care, with responsibilities at both the Emory University Hospital and the Emory Dunwoody Medical Center.

Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology with a valid Georgia medical license and DEA, or the ability to obtain them.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, along with a keen interest in academic medicine and collaborative care.

Clinical ResponsibilitiesInpatient ENT Hospitalist Care:
- Deliver consultative and procedural care at Emory University Hospital, a leading tertiary care facility.
- Manage common ENT consultations, including airway evaluations, vocal cord injections, and bedside procedures.
- Receive support from experienced PAs who assist with consultations, care coordination, and inpatient management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for the care of complex patients, including immunocompromised transplant populations.
Outpatient Clinical Practice:
- Join the newly established Emory at Dunwoody, a modern community clinic offering a full range of ENT services.
- Provide general ENT care for patients of all ages, including office-based procedures and management of benign and malignant conditions.
- The clinic is equipped with audiology services, a dedicated audiology booth, and ultrasound capabilities.
Schedule & Work Structure
- The hybrid schedule is adaptable based on your interests and experience, typically consisting of 3-4 days of inpatient hospitalist care and 2-3 days in the outpatient clinic.
- Day shift hospitalist coverage runs from 7 AM to 5 PM, with APPs managing first-call duties and after-hours cases handled by the on-call team, ensuring a predictable daytime schedule.
- Outpatient call averages 5-6 shifts per month.
