Job Title: Manager - Community Services & Behavioral Health
Location: Providence, RI (Hybrid – Onsite once per week)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated person to support statewide initiatives focused on improving children’s behavioral health services. This role plays a key part in the development, coordination, and oversight of services delivered under the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model.
The ideal candidate will help establish service standards, review staffing and service delivery models, identify gaps, support quality improvement efforts, and collaborate with multiple agencies and partners to strengthen behavioral health services and crisis response systems. This position requires strong knowledge of mental health services and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess service delivery across Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) to identify strengths, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop child- and family-focused CCBHC service standards, guidelines, and operational frameworks.
- Lead and support quality improvement activities to enhance service outcomes.
- Participate in statewide decision-making and service delivery discussions with cross-agency partners.
- Support the development of the behavioral health crisis response system.
- Collaborate with various statewide partners and departments to ensure alignment and effective service delivery.
- Monitor outcomes, staffing models, funding processes, and payment structures to ensure high-quality services.
Requirements:
- Experience in planning or delivering mental health services is required.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health systems, community services, or clinical program management.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a clinical, behavioral health, or social service–related field.
- Experience working with government agencies or community health organizations.
