Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer
Location: Bronx, NY 10461
Job Type: Contract (14 Weeks, Possible Temp-to-Perm)
Shift: Day | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 37.5 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: $59 – $61 per hour

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer for an exciting job in Bronx, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.

• Assist with Interventional Radiology procedures.

• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

• Maintain strict radiation safety standards and infection control practices.

• Operate radiographic equipment and ensure optimal image quality.

• Accurately document procedures in electronic medical records.

• Comply with HIPAA, departmental, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

• Participate in quality assurance and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum one (1) year of General Radiographer experience.

• Interventional Radiology experience required.

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program (Military training accepted).

• Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred:

• Knowledge and experience in CT (Computed Tomography).
