Compensation & Benefits

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health to provide leadership and operational oversight for an acute-care Behavioral Health unit in Dulles, Virginia. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, staff performance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency while promoting a compassionate, patient-centered care environment.

This opportunity is well-suited for a behavioral health nursing leader who excels in acute-care settings and is ready to drive unit performance, staff engagement, and quality outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience (Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Clinical Team Lead)

  • Acute-care Behavioral Health experience required

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – required within 30 days of hire

  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) – required within 30 days of hire

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and operational management skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the Behavioral Health Nursing Department

  • Provide clinical and administrative oversight through collaboration with House Supervisors and Charge Nurses

  • Ensure safe, therapeutic, and compliant patient care delivery

  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization

  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and compassionate care

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and staff performance

  • Serve as a visible and supportive leader, fostering staff development and engagement
