Job Summary

The Training Specialist supports the development, organization, and maintenance of training programs and materials for the Finance organization. This role is responsible for managing training documentation, assisting with the creation and update of training content, and supporting the Finance Knowledge Bank and learning platforms. The position will also assist in building and maintaining training courses within the company’s Learning Management System to support employee development and key initiatives such as the Finance of the Future model.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain documentation for all Finance training plans and systems, including platforms such as Omega, BlackLine, Basware, Alignment, and other internal tools.
  • Assist in developing new training materials and updating existing content, including presentations, training sites, instructional guides, and videos.
  • Support the management and organization of the Finance Knowledge Bank, ensuring training materials and documentation are properly maintained and accessible.
  • Assist in updating Finance Career and Training Guides to align with the organization’s evolving Finance of the Future model.
  • Build and maintain training courses using Articulate and the company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Organize and maintain training files, documentation, and learning resources to ensure accuracy and consistency across training materials.
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather information and translate processes into effective training materials.
  • Support ongoing improvements to training programs and resources based on organizational needs and feedback.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in training coordination, learning and development, or instructional support.
  • Experience developing or maintaining training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, guides, or video-based content.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and course development tools such as Articulate or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accuracy in training documentation.
