Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of public area, hallways, and resident common spaces.
- Assist housekeeping staff with removal of waste, laundry and soiled linens.
- Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets.
- transport equipment, supplies, and furnishing as needed within the facility.
- Respond to urgent cleaning or portering needs (e.g., spills, accidents).
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazard and infectious materials in compliance with safety protocols.
- Perform lights maintenance or room set up duties when required.
- Collaborate with nursing and support to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents an families.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping or porter services, preferably in a healcare or long-term care setting
- Physical ability to preform tasks involving bending, pushing carts, lifting, stooping, stretching, walking, and working overhead.
- Strong understanding or infection prevention and control practices.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- English language proficiency
