Senior Structural Engineer (Hybrid)
Seeking candidates for regional offices in NY, CT, WI, VA, GA, OH
We are seeking a licensed Senior Structural Engineer to join our expanding team. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile and technically challenging projects within a collaborative, multi-discipline architectural and engineering environment.
- The role is hybrid and open to applicants in any of our regional office locations.

Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis, design, and computer modeling of buildings and facilities.
- Coordinate effectively with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Prepare plans, details, and specifications in compliance with design and code requirements.
- Review shop drawings and provide construction administration support.
- Take full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating engineering assignments.
- Lead and develop engineering projects involving complex or innovative challenges that significantly impact organizational objectives.
- Define project scope, identify key areas for investigation, and develop creative structural solutions.
- Serve as a technical liaison internally and externally, exercising independent judgment on technical matters.
- Manage the analysis and design of structural systems and components using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood, guiding projects from concept through construction.
- Participate in project, construction, client, and internal team meetings.
- Conduct facility assessments, prepare technical reports, and develop material specifications.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, CAD technicians, and interdisciplinary project teams.
- Limited travel to local and non-local project sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering (structural emphasis required).
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred or required depending on jurisdiction.
- Proficiency with structural engineering software (e.g., Bentley RAM), 3D modeling tools (Revit, AutoCAD), and Microsoft Office/Bluebeam applications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of structural codes and standards, including ASCE 7, AISC 360, and ACI 318.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, problem-solving, technical writing, and time management.
- Proven ability to design across multiple structural materials and handle a diverse range of project types and complexities.
