Join Our Team as a Radiation Therapist!\n\nJob Description\n\n- Position: Radiation Therapist\n- Schedule: Full Time Days, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm\n- No weekends / No call\n\nYour Role:\n- Perform cutting-edge radiotherapy procedures as prescribed by physicians.\n- Deliver compassionate patient care, ensuring comfort and clarity throughout treatment.\n- Collaborate with a dedicated team to provide exceptional cancer care services.\n\nQualifications:\n- Education: \n - Associate’s degree in radiography with a certification in radiation therapy (Bachelor’s preferred).\n - Graduate of a JRCERT approved school registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.\n \n- Licensures/Certifications: \n - State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist.\n - ARRT license and CPR certification required.\n \n- Experience: \n - 1-2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred.\n\nJob-related Skills:\n- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.\n- Creative problem-solving abilities with a knack for handling multiple priorities.\n- Capability to make independent decisions.\n\nOrganizational Expectations:\n- Mission and Service Values:\n - Empathy: Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.\n - Integrity: Uphold ethical standards and deliver on commitments.\n - Stewardship: Utilize resources wisely and give back to the community.\n - Agility: Innovate and respond promptly to the dynamic healthcare environment.\n - Teamwork: Collaborate effectively, embracing diverse viewpoints.\n\n- Commitment and Engagement:\n - Quality: Contribute to team achievements and quality improvement.\n - Safety: Maintain a secure and clean work environment.\n - Service: Strive to exceed customer expectations with every interaction.\n - Sustainability: Use resources efficiently in your daily work.\n\nEssential Job Functions:\n- Deliver prescribed courses of radiation therapy using state-of-the-art equipment.\n- Obtain patient history and explain procedures clearly.\n- Schedule treatments and collaborate with physicists and care providers.\n- Prepare detailed documentation of treatment plans and patient progress.\n- Ensure accurate treatments by checking prescriptions and patient identification.\n- Position patients carefully, considering all medical needs and supports.\n- Reinforce care recommendations and manage potential side effects.\n- Participate in continuous professional growth through education and training.\n\nPhysical Capacity Demand:\n- Medium Work: Exerting up to 20-50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds frequently.\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):\nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
