Your Role as a Farmers Insurance Agent
- Prospect, sell, and service a wide range of insurance products including auto, home, life, and commercial coverage.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients manage risk and protect what matters most.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, and marketing strategies.
- Develop customized insurance solutions for individuals, families, and businesses.
- Cross-sell policies to maximize client protection and increase revenue.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional service.
- Provide policy reviews and updates to ensure proper coverage.
- Handle customer inquiries, endorsements, and claims assistance.
Agency Growth & Operations:
- Develop and execute a business plan to meet sales goals and grow the agency.
- Hire, train, and manage agency staff as the business expands.
- Maintain compliance with state insurance regulations and Farmers policies.
Requirements
Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for success.
Sales or customer service experience preferred.
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) insurance licenses (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies.
