A K-12 school in Saint Johns, FL, is seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a contract position extending through the current school year. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work directly with students and multidisciplinary teams within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting referral meetings to evaluate the need for student assessments.
- Participate in eligibility meetings to review evaluation results and support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with IEP teams to interpret psychological evaluations and recommend appropriate services.
- Provide expert consultation to school staff and parents regarding student evaluations and educational interventions.
- Maintain compliance with district policies and licensure requirements while managing a caseload primarily at one school site.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Education (DOE) licensure for School Psychologists.
- Proven experience working with K-12 student populations in school settings.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessments, evaluation processes, and special education law.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Location: On-site position based in Saint Johns, FL.
Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of May 2026.
