Job DescriptionBased in Williamsburg, VA — this is an on-site position within our corporate office and is not eligible for remote work.What does a day in the life of a Payroll Support Manager look like in hospitality? It starts with ensuring hundreds of hotel team members across multiple states are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with payroll laws and company standards. In hospitality, operations never stop — and neither does the support behind the scenes that keeps hotels running smoothly.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that payroll is about more than numbers — it’s about taking care of people.Your Day Might Include:
- Overseeing the complete multi-state payroll process for a growing hotel portfolio
- Reviewing timecards, PTO balances, approvals, and payroll inputs for accuracy
- Processing payroll changes including pay rates, transfers, rehires, direct deposits, and department updates
- Importing and validating hotel timekeeping files and resolving discrepancies
- Managing garnishments, withholding taxes, deductions, and unemployment requests
- Submitting finalized payroll through ADP Workforce Now
- Distributing payroll journals and invoices to Accounting and Ownership groups
- Supporting audits and maintaining organized, audit-ready payroll documentation
- Assisting hotel leaders and team members with payroll questions and troubleshooting
- Partnering with HR and Finance to maintain accurate employee and payroll records
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll workflows, reporting, and efficiencies
- Helping train and support payroll team members

- Payroll experience required; multi-state payroll experience preferred
- Hospitality payroll experience strongly preferred
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment
- A collaborative team player with a strong sense of accountability and accuracy
